Marina is President of the Australasian Society for Computers & Law, a multidisciplinary intergenerational think-tank co-designing a sustainable and responsible future at the intersection of law, technology, and society, through open education, executive leadership and policy development. Marina is also a senior technology lawyer, specialising in tech transfer, ICT and digital law.
In 2022 was named Australasian law Awards Inhouse Leader, and Academia, Training and Education Lawyer of the Year at the Corporate Counsel Awards and in 2021 the ACC Australian NFP Lawyer of the Year. Her passions include championing the translation of leading Australian research and innovation across multiple disciplines.
Marina also serves on several advisory boards, including the International Federation of Computer and Law Associations, International Association of Privacy Professionals, and UNSW Allens Hub for Technology, Law and Innovation. A strong advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Technology for Good movement.
